Before you Visit

As a rescue zoo, our first priority is the comfort & contentment of our animals in residence. Please know that some of the animals may not always be viewable in their habitats. We do not force our animals into their outside habitats for spectators. Animals can choose at any time to be in their inside den areas if desired. No refunds for tickets will be provided.

OUR HOURS OF OPERATION

Regular Hours (February 1 – October 31)
9:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. Admission closes at 4:00pm.
9:30am – 6:00pm Saturdays & Sundays and National Holidays. Admission Closes at 5:00pm.

Winter Hours: (November 1 – January 31)
9:30am – 4:00pm Mondays – Fridays. Admission closes at 3:00pm.
9:30am – 5:00pm Saturdays & Sundays. Admission closes at 4:00pm.

Austin Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
