Meet our Animals

With over 300 rescues across a 100 different species, the Austin Zoo is made up of several happy animal familes.

Lions and tigers belong to the cat family, while snakes and lizards belong to the reptile family. Click on the images below to see our animals and learn which belong to which family, as well as the kind of food they eat, and where they live in the wild.
