Time Details:
- 5:45 PM Doors Open. Guest Check-In begins. Zoo Gift Shop opens.
- 6:20 PM First reserved Train Ride.
- 6:30 PM Haunted House opens.
- 6:40 PM Frightfully Fun Animal Show (Show times: 6:40, 7:20, and 8:00 PM; limited seating available)
- 9:00 PM Boo at the Zoo closes; Zoo Gift Shop closes.

TICKETS: $22.00 EACH
Ticket includes Boo at the Zoo event entry beginning at 5:45 pm for one person, unlimited visits through the Haunted House (as the line allows), a frightfully fun animal show by our Education Department, and one seat for a RESERVED TRAIN RIDE.
Haunted Train Ride
The Haunted Train Ride at ‘Boo at the Zoo’ is a spooky 10-minute ride through the hill country greenbelt of Austin Zoo, complete with Halloween-themed lights and décor.
The Train has limited capacity and rides therefore must be reserved at a specific time. Please select your train ride time thoughtfully. Your Boo admission ticket provides you with one reserved seat at your selected train time.
Children under 2 are free and must ride the train in an adult’s lap. If you prefer that your Under-2 have their own seat on the train, then please purchase an additional event ticket for them.
Train Seating Policies:
- All train seats will be full.
- Seating on each train ride is first-come first-served.
- We no longer make accommodations for social distancing, so all seats will be sold.
- You may be required to sit next to someone you do not know.
- Parties of 3 or more may be required to split up.
TRAIN RIDE TIMES:
6:20 PM, 6:40 PM, 7:00 PM, 7:20 PM, 7:40 PM, 8:00 PM, 8:20 PM, 8:40 PM.
A 9:00 PM Train will be added if all other train times fill up.
